Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Temp-To-Hire A retail-focused Pharmacy Technician role is available with a growing company seeking a detail-oriented professional for a temp-to-hire opportunity. This position offers approximately 32 hours per week with the potential for permanent employment and full benefits upon conversion.

Location:

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, rotating shifts between 8:00am-3:00pm and 10:00am-5:30pm

Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional customer service by assisting patients both in-person and via phone, addressing questions, and resolving medication or insurance concerns Accurately process prescriptions, including data entry, insurance billing, and prescription labeling in a high-volume environment averaging 150 prescriptions daily Support non-sterile compounding activities with training provided, ensuring medication preparation adheres to safety protocols Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare providers to clarify prescription information and facilitate timely dispensing Manage pharmacy inventory by stocking medications and maintaining proper storage and organization of supplies

Qualifications:

Active Missouri Pharmacy Technician License Minimum of 1 year retail pharmacy technician experience required (candidates with closed-door backgrounds may not be suitable due to high patient interaction and foot traffic) Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification is a plus but not mandatory Positive attitude, team-oriented, and determined to contribute effectively in a fast-paced environment This assignment, lasting 13+ weeks, is an excellent path to a permanent position with competitive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
