Position Summary:
As a Long-Term Care Pharmacy Technician, your role is crucial in providing pharmaceutical support and medication management services to patients residing in long-term care facilities, such as nursing homes, assisted living centers, and rehabilitation centers. Your primary responsibility is to assist pharmacists in dispensing medications accurately, efficiently, and safely to ensure optimal patient care. Summary of Duties Prescription fulfillment (i.e., Various packaging, Compounding, IV preparations) Daily Fill including controlled substances Staging items for delivery First Dose supply fulfillment and management Customer service (i.e., receiving and processing order requests) Data Entry Other duties as needed

This position has no supervisory responsibilities. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and
ABILITIES
Education High School Diploma/GED Equivalent Professional Licenses/Certifications:
Pharmacy Technician License required through Missouri Board of Pharmacy upon hire Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred, but not required Qualifications One to two years of experience in a related field; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Long term care or Retail Pharmacy Technician experience preferred IV or sterile/non-sterile compounding experience preferred Computer, email, fax and scanning knowledge Ability to work independently and in a team environment Attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness Ability to work in a fast-paced environment/self-driven Typing and /or data entry skills Competencies Teamwork

Work Environment/Physical Demands Continually required to sit and/or stand for up to 10 hours per day Having a range of motion from kneeling, to bending over to raising arms above head to frequently retrieve stock Frequently required to lift and/or carry up to 40 lbs Continually utilize visual acuity to read fine and/or small print, and to work off a computer screen for up to 10 hours/day
