Pharmacy Managers, Pharmacist on duty, Pharmacy Technician Supervisor
DEFINITION OF POSITION A
Pharmacy Technician is responsible for assisting pharmacists in various aspects of medication acquisition, preparation, distribution, and billing.
QUALIFICATIONS
Professional High school graduate or equivalent Registered as a Pharmacy Technician by the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy Six months experience as a pharmacy technician or successful completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program 4. Must obtain PTCB certification within the first six months of employment. PTCB certification must be kept current during your employment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Basic computer skills including keyboard data entry and Windows-based software navigation Basic office equipment skills including use of calculator, telephone, printer, & fax machine
