Job Description
The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, codes and standards of the facility. Pharmacy Technicians work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist and will not perform duties that can only legally be performed by a licensed pharmacist. Duties include assisting in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the pharmacy, maintaining records, assisting in medication inventory/pharmacy supply control throughout the facility, assisting in medication delivery to the patient care areas, and participating in training, committees and meetings as determined by the director of pharmacy.
