Header Job Summary Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Pharmacy Technician, where your expertise will directly impact patient care and medication safety. In this vital role, you will assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, managing pharmacy operations, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. Responsibilities Assist pharmacists with medication preparation Manage medication inventory, perform data entry into pharmacy software systems, and maintain accurate records of drug dispensing activities. Support patient care by providing medication information, answering questions, and ensuring proper medication intake procedures are followed. Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws, pharmaceutical regulatory standards, and drug regulation policies. Conduct pharmaceutical calculations accurately. Maintain patient confidentiality at all times while handling sensitive medical information and adhering to HIPAA guidelines. Participate in community pharmacy operations by supporting prescription processing, drug regulation adherence, and inventory management. Qualifications Prior experience as a Pharmacy Technician in LTC pharmacy, hospital pharmacy, or community pharmacy setting is preferred, but not required Computer experience is essential Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient service and patient care delivery. High School diploma required. Preference given to college graduates. May not have a drug related criminal history. Pay:
$24.79 - $29.86 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
