Pharmacy Technician Certification Full Job Description Job Description:
The job is for a Pharmacy Technician in an LTC (closed-door) pharmacy setting. Our pharmacy specializes in providing medication services for individuals with developmental disabilities, behavioral health disorders, and those that reside in nursing facilities. Typical duties would include filling prescriptions, entering prescriptions to be filled, packaging medications, and communicating with nurses, physicians, and caregivers via email and phone. This is a growing business and we are looking for a positive individual to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for patient care and a strong attention to detail. Active Nebraska Pharmacy Technician license a plus. Must be reliable and able to show up to work on time. Must be able to collaborate with caregivers, nurses, and physicians and build relationships to ensure great patient care. Must be a good learner. No experience is required. We will teach you our systems and methods. Must pay attention to detail. Able to work with deadlines. Must be able to communicate efficiently and effectively with others. Must be able to be on your feet during your shift and able to lift 30 lbs. You will report to the pharmacist or their designate. This job requires problem solving and some basic math skills. Must be competent with using a computer and able to learn new programs quickly. Experience with Microsoft and Google software products is preferred. Must be able to work independently.Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$1.00 - $20.00 per hourSchedule:
8-10 hour shifts (can be flexible) Day and evening shifts (rotation for evenings - up to 7 pm) Saturday shift rotation (only from 9 am to 2 pm)Education:
Pharmacy technician certification is a plus Associates Degree or above is requiredPay:
