Responsibilities Prepare and dispense medications accurately under the supervision of licensed pharmacists Manage medication inventory, including ordering, stocking, and maintaining proper storage conditions in compliance with pharmaceutical regulations. Assist with data entry into pharmacy software systems, ensuring all patient records and medication orders are precise and up-to-date. Provide excellent patient service by answering questions, clarifying medication instructions, and supporting medication administration processes. Ensure adherence to state and federal pharmacy laws, medical terminology standards, and pharmaceutical regulatory compliance throughout all tasks. Maintain strict patient confidentiality while handling sensitive health information in accordance with healthcare privacy laws. Requirements Prior experience as a pharmacy technician with knowledge of pharmacy software systems and data entry procedures is preferred Experience working in critical care, hospital pharmacy, or community pharmacy environments is highly preferred. Familiarity with state healthcare regulations, drug regulation laws, and pharmacy technician scope of practice. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient care and maintaining professional integrity at all times.
