Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician - IV Certified Job Type Contract A healthcare facility is seeking two experienced inpatient pharmacy technicians to join their team on a 13-week contract starting August 24. This role is ideal for individuals who are IV certified and have a strong background in hospital inpatient pharmacy settings.

Key Responsibilities:
Accurately prepare, package, and distribute medications for inpatient use in a hospital setting. Assist pharmacists in the compounding and dispensing of intravenous (IV) medications, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Maintain proper inventory of pharmaceuticals and supplies, restocking as needed. Document and verify prescriptions to support seamless patient care. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to meet patient medication needs efficiently.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Certified Pharmacy Technician with IV certification. Experience working in hospital inpatient pharmacy settings is essential. Strong knowledge of medication preparation, dosage calculations, and sterile techniques. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
