Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Direct Hire Support the Department of Pharmaceutical Services in an inpatient hospital setting as a Pharmacy Technician under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. This full-time, permanent role offers the opportunity to contribute to patient care by preparing, labeling, dispensing, and distributing pharmaceutical products across all patient populations, including neonates through geriatrics.
Location & Schedule:
Flemington, NJ (~1 hour from Edison, Newark, and New York City) Variable afternoon shifts based on department needs Weekend rotation required as scheduled
Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation, labeling, dispensing, and distribution of medications Utilize technologies such as Pyxis and Omnicell for medication management Support compliance with safety and quality standards in pharmaceutical services Prepare intravenous medications and participate in sterile compounding as needed
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required NJ Pharmacy Technician license or ability to obtain quickly National certification from PTCB or NHA Minimum 1 year of inpatient experience including IV preparation IV/Sterile Compounding certification preferred This direct hire opportunity provides a stable work environment with a crucial role in patient medication management.
