Shift:
M-F 6 am to 2:30 pm (Overtime or weekend work may be required based on business needs) Essential ResponsibilitiesUnder the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician will: Retrieve medications from inventory and prepare prescription orders for pharmacist verificationCount, label, and package medications accurately in accordance with pharmacy proceduresProcess prescription orders efficiently to meet production and quality standardsAssist with packing and shipping completed orders to patientsMaintain inventory accuracy, including removing outdated medications and replenishing stockMonitor and support automated dispensing units and workflowsMaintain appropriate supply levels at workstations (vials, caps, labels, packaging materials)Support maintenance of par levels for pre-packaged auxiliary itemsPerform occasional outbound patient calls for order inquiries and customer service supportWork simultaneously within multiple computer systems to document activities and provide informationEnsure compliance with all applicable regulations, including HIPAAMaintain a clean, organized, and safe workspacePerform additional operational duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED (or higher)Active and unrestricted New Jersey Pharmacy Technician LicenseAbility to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours)Ability to lift up to 25 poundsStrong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environmentBasic computer proficiency
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in pharmacy operations or prescription data entryNational Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT)Experience working in a mail-order or fulfillment pharmacy settingBasic math skills (fractions, decimals, measurements)Strong organizational and multitasking abilitiesExperience working with automated pharmacy systems
