This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Sunday- Thursday. Candidates are required to have flexibility to work our 8-hour shift schedule during our normal business hours of (3:00PM
- 11:30pm).
Primary Responsibilities:
Process and fill prescription orders in preparation for pharmacist verification Some packing and shipping of completed prescription orders to patients Maintain drug inventory and automated dispensing units Replenish workstation supplies for filling prescriptions as needed (includes vials, caps, labels, etc.) What are the reasons to consider working for UnitedHealth Group? Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of New Jersey 2+ years of pharmacy technician experience Basic level of proficiency with MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, Teams, etc. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds Ability to stand for up to 8 hours with intermittent breaksPreferred Qualifications:
Previous retail/mail order pharmacy experience Pharmacy/prescription data entry experience Experience navigating through Microsoft Office Suite Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB, CPhT, NHA) 2+ years of experience working as a Pharmacy Technician Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
