In this vital role, you will assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, managing patient interactions, and ensuring accurate medication delivery. Your dedication to patient service and precision will help improve health outcomes and streamline pharmacy operations in a fast-paced environment. Duties Prepare and dispense medications accurately under the supervision of licensed pharmacists. Assist with medication intake, verifying prescriptions, and ensuring proper documentation in accordance with medical terminology standards. Support patient service activities by answering medication-related questions, providing medication administration guidance, and ensuring timely delivery of drugs. Maintain inventory levels, restock supplies, and ensure proper storage conditions for medications in compliance with safety protocols. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate medication orders for acute care patients and critical care units. Document all pharmacy activities meticulously, including medication administration records etc.
Requirements :
Strong understanding of medical terminology Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, healthcare providers, and team members. Certification as a pharmacy technician where applicable by state or national regulatory bodies is preferred.
