Hiring Range:
$18.39 - $24.59/hr The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
Responsibilities:
Refills and maintains automated dispensing systems. Prepares orders and maintains inventory for the pharmacy department. Repackages bulk medications. Receives and stores incoming supplies. Serves as liaison between pharmacy, patient and health professional by providing information as necessary.
Complexity of Work:
Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment. Minimum Qualifications Licensure / Certification /
Registration:
Preferred Credential(s): Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB). Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association.
Education:
High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.
