This role requires expertise in sterile and non-sterile compounding along with proficient handling of pharmacy operations within a hospital setting.

Schedule/Hours:

Variable days and afternoons 5 shifts per week, each 8 hours long

Responsibilities:

Prepare sterile and non-sterile compounded medications ensuring accuracy and compliance with safety protocols Restock Pyxis machines efficiently to support nursing staff and maintain medication availability Deliver medications to patient care floors promptly Manage incoming pharmacy calls, coordinating with healthcare staff to facilitate effective pharmaceutical service

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

Current Pharmacy Technician license in New York State Minimum of 2 years experience in an inpatient pharmacy environment Strong knowledge of hospital pharmacy operations and medication distribution systems Ability to work flexible hours as required by the variable schedule
