Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract An immediate opportunity is available for a licensed Pharmacy Technician to support a busy inpatient pharmacy in Upstate New York. This 13-week contract position offers variable days and afternoon shifts with a five-day, eight-hour schedule each week, providing a dynamic work environment for professionals comfortable with flexible hours.
Responsibilities include:
Sterile and non-sterile compounding to prepare medications accurately and safely. Restocking automated medication dispensing systems (Pyxis). Delivering medications to patient care floors promptly. Managing incoming calls to the pharmacy to support healthcare staff.
Ideal candidates will possess:
A valid New York State Pharmacy Technician license. At least one year of experience working as an inpatient pharmacy technician. Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and medication handling. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
