Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract This opportunity seeks a skilled Pharmacy Technician to support inpatient pharmacy operations in Upstate New York. The assignment is ideal for professionals ready to start promptly and work a 13-week contract with a flexible schedule.
Responsibilities include:
Performing sterile and non-sterile compounding Restocking Pyxis medication cabinets Delivering medications to hospital floors Handling incoming calls to the pharmacy Collaborating with pharmacy staff to ensure efficient medication distribution
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid New York Pharmacy Technician license Minimum of 2 years of experience as an inpatient pharmacy technician Knowledge of sterile and non-sterile compounding procedures Ability to manage multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Schedule:
Variable days and afternoon shifts Five 8-hour shifts per week

Ithaca, NY (Upstate New York) This contract role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic hospital environment with a flexible schedule. Candidates should be prepared for an ASAP start and be willing to commit to the full 13-week duration.
