Responsibilities The Pharmacy Technician, under the direct supervision of the Pharmacy Manager or Registered Pharmacist, shall assist with routine pharmacy responsibilities. These include, preparing and distributing medications, maintaining inventory, preparing reports, managing automated systems, and maintaining records. They work only under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist. They do not perform duties that legally can only be performed by a registered pharmacist. Qualifications Minimum Education:

High school Diploma or equivalent is required. Associate's degree or Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Minimum Experience:

Demonstrated knowledge of mathematical skills that include ability to perform complex weight and measure calculations as well as ability to perform percentages, division operations, and decimal point manipulation. General data entry skills as well as excellent written and verbal skills are a must.

Required Certification/Registration:

PTCB Certification and registered.

Evidence of visual and aural acuity and finger and hand dexterity to operate computer and office equipment. Can withstand long periods of sitting, standing and/or constant walking.
