Compensation Mount Sinai South Nassau provides a salary range in good faith determination of potential compensation to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.

Pharmacy Position Summary Summary:
The Pharmacy Technician assists in the advancement of rational, patient-oriented drug therapy. All their duties and tasks, as outlined below, will be under the supervision of a Pharmacist.
Qualifications Responsibilities:
Education Required Must complete in-house orientation program High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience And Skills Speaks, reads and writes English Hospital experience preferred but not necessary License/Certifications Current and valid Pharmacy Technician New York State license and registration National Pharmacy Technician Certificate (PTCB) Working Conditions Other information: Working Conditions Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) worn May require prolonged periods of standing. May require prolonged periods of walking. Will require the lifting of heavy boxes.
