Compensation:
$50,000-$60,000 per year, based on experience About Protera Specialty Pharmacy Protera Specialty Pharmacy is a rapidly growing specialty pharmacy focused on providing exceptional patient care and access to specialty medications. We are looking for a dependable, motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team and grow with our organization. Position Summary The Pharmacy Technician will assist pharmacists with prescription processing, insurance coordination, medication fulfillment, and daily pharmacy operations. The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of pharmacy technician experience, is highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Experience with specialty medications is preferred. Qualifications Active New York State Pharmacy Technician registration (or ability to obtain if required) 2-3 years of pharmacy technician experience required Specialty pharmacy experience preferred Experience with insurance processing, prior authorizations, and pharmacy claims is a plus Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Experience with pharmacy management software is preferred Responsibilities Process and prepare prescriptions accurately and efficiently Assist with prescription intake, data entry, and insurance claim processing Coordinate with patients, prescribers, and insurance companies Assist with prior authorizations and specialty medication workflows Maintain accurate patient and prescription records Manage inventory and assist with medication ordering Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and company policies Support pharmacists and other team members with daily operations Benefits Competitive salary Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off 401(k) Opportunities for professional growth within a rapidly expanding specialty pharmacy If you're looking to join a growing organization where you'll have the opportunity to make an impact and build your career in specialty pharmacy, we'd love to hear from you.
