DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1.

Assisting stores with ensuring customers receive all their prescriptions in a timely manner. 2. Maintain pharmacy records as required in accordance with Standard Practice and by law. 3. Maintain confidentiality of customer and company information. 4. Follow and adhere to attendance and paid time off policies. 5. Coordinate and assist with scheduling. 6. Understand and adhere to state specific and federal laws and regulations. 7. Assist in third party audits as needed. 8. Share in responsibility for department maintenance and cleanliness by maintaining the quality of department's appearance and presentation. 9. Maintain and assist with ordering pharmacy department supplies (e.g. bags, labels, staples, etc.) 10. Observe, adhere, and understand all company policies and Company Standard Practices. 11.Always maintain a neat, well-groomed personal appearance and comply with company personal appearance and dress code policies. 12.Support company safety standards. Communicate any needed equipment repairs or maintenance work needed. Keep work area free of debris and safety hazards. 13. Treat all co-workers with fairness, dignity, and respect.

QUALIFICATIONS

Successful completion of criminal background check and drug testing as required. Maintain current national certification and state license as required. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong keyboard skills and a demonstrated ability to learn new software applications. Effective time management skills and sense of urgency. Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment. Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to multi-task in a stressful environment. Must be able to work with minimal supervision to prioritize multiple minor projects while maintaining customer focus. High levels of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Open schedule availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Desire and ability to learn all aspects of pharmacy operations including involvement with store leadership, scheduling, and other delegated duties. Desire and ability to train other department associates in all areas pertaining to department operation. Promote and participate in initiatives to grow the pharmacy business as required. Willingness to become licensed in additional states as required. Physical Requirements 1. Sit or stand 100% of the shift with occasional walking short distances. 2. Use of computer and pharmacy filling equipment 100% of time. 3. Clerical accuracy skills and mathematical skills. 4. Ability to use office supplies, communication devices, and computer systems frequently. 5. Frequent/continuous reaching, grasping, lifting, and carrying up to 20 lb. below the waist level and at or above shoulder level. 6. Bend at the knees and waist repetitively throughout the workday. 7. Have sufficient visual acuity and audio capability to process prescriptions and service customers.
