Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract To Hire This opportunity is for a Pharmacy Technician to support an inpatient hospital environment with a specialized 7 on/7 off night shift schedule, typically Thursday to Thursday from 9 PM to 7 AM. The initial contract duration is 13 weeks with a strong possibility for direct hire.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately perform order entry using Meditech. Utilize Pyxis automation systems to manage medication dispensing. Prepare sterile compounding medications in accordance with safety and quality guidelines. Collaborate closely with pharmacy and clinical staff to ensure timely and accurate medication delivery in the inpatient setting.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Ohio pharmacy technician license required. National pharmacy technician certification mandatory. Proven experience in inpatient pharmacy operations. Proficient in sterile compounding procedures. Demonstrated experience with Pyxis automation systems.
Schedule:
Night shift, 7 on / 7 off (9 PM - 7 AM), typically Thursday through Thursday.
