Job Description

Shift:

Position Summary Our pharmacy team is the reason patients keep coming back to Gifthealth. Our pharmacy technicians are an essential part of the team. As the lead technician, you will provide real world experience in a fast paced pharmacy atmosphere. You will have the ability to make an impact in many patients' lives outside of what you may have learned in the classroom. This role is more than just stocking shelves and collecting copays, it is building relationships internally and externally to create a wonderful pharmacy experience. Key Responsibilities Working with a strong pharmacy team to build lasting patient relationships Overseeing the pharmacy functions of retail pharmacy with the pharmacists Follow standard operating procedures and comply with federal and state regulations Create an environment that enables customers to feel welcome, important and appreciated Process prescriptions accurately and efficiently, including entering, solving third-party rejections, filling, and preparing deliveries and shipments Process customer transactions in a quick and efficient manner Understand and follow company guidelines on tendering electronic fund transactions, such as credit/debit cards, EBT, cash and check transactions Maintain a clean and organized work station, and assist in maintaining a clean pharmacy environment Receive and stock medications in the pharmacy Qualifications High school or equivalent (Required)
Pharmacy Technician Experience:
1 year (Preferred)
Customer Service Experience:
1 year (Preferred) Registered Pharmacy Technician in the state of Ohio (Required) PTCB Certification (Required) High school or equivalent (Required)

1 year (Preferred) Registered Pharmacy Technician in the state of Ohio (Required) PTCB Certification (Required) Skills Be able to multitask and find operational efficiencies Be detail-oriented Be able to display positive attitude while interacting with patients and peers Be a problem solver Be willing to actively seek additional licensure and certifications, such as immunization certification and compounding training, to elevate your role in the pharmacy

Full-time May require additional availability or flexibility for escalations. Regular meetings with your teams, departments, or leadership to ensure alignment. Key Essential Functions Must be able to stand for at least 8 hours at a day and up to 10 hours per day during peak periods. Must be able to lift up to 30-50 pounds. Must perform repetitive motions for an entire shift (bending, reaching, lifting, scanning labels, packing boxes). Must be able to work onsite for all scheduled shifts. Must be able to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and moderate noise.
