Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician - IV Certified Job Type Contract A healthcare facility in Hilliard, OH, is seeking four certified Pharmacy Technicians with IV certification to support their inpatient hospital pharmacy team on a 13-week contract starting June 14th. This role involves working in a fast-paced hospital setting, providing critical pharmacy support to ensure accurate and timely medication preparation and distribution.
Schedule/Hours:
Two positions: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM, every other weekend Two positions: 10:00 PM - end of shift
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and dispense medications, including intravenous (IV) admixtures, under pharmacist supervision Accurately process inpatient medication orders in compliance with hospital protocols Maintain inventory of pharmaceutical supplies and ensure proper storage Collaborate closely with pharmacists and healthcare teams to support patient care Adhere to safety guidelines and regulatory standards
Desired Qualifications:
Active Pharmacy Technician certification IV Certification required Experience in hospital inpatient pharmacy preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, high-pressure environment This opportunity offers a dynamic work environment with a dedicated team focused on exemplary patient care.
