Job Description

The Pharmacy Technician I is primarily responsible for preparation of patient pharmacy billing, packaging and labeling of unit dose medication, stocking medications, processing of pharmacy orders, filling medication bins, general inventory control, general office needs of the pharmacy, and other activities not requiring the professional judgment of the Pharmacist. The Pharmacy Technician I functions in strict accordance with standard, written procedures and guidelines. All work with pharmaceuticals is done under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, as directed by Ohio law. Education -
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent, plus a combination of training and work experiences which indicates possession of skills knowledge and abilities required for this position. Education -
Preferred:
Minimum Experience:
Certification for Pharmacy Tech. Registered Pharmacy Tech with Ohio Board of Pharmacy.
