Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Per Diem An opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Technician to provide essential support in the distribution and management of medications in a fast-paced pharmacy environment. This role involves accurately preparing prescriptions, offering medication guidance to customers, and delivering outstanding customer service to ensure patient satisfaction and safety. The position is per diem with a consistent weekday schedule, ideal for professionals looking for flexible work days within a structured timeframe.
Location:
Portland, OR Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00
PM Key Responsibilities:
Dispense prescription medications accurately as directed by health care practitioners Provide clear and accurate information to patients regarding medication usage and potential side effects Maintain exemplary customer service standards, ensuring a positive patient experience Collaborate closely with pharmacists and healthcare teams to optimize medication management
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Oregon Pharmacy Technician License Prior experience in retail or long-term care pharmacy settings is preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety Excellent communication skills and ability to interact professionally with customers and healthcare staff
