Registered Pharmacy Technician Pharmacy Technician Certification Full Job Description Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications and providing patient care.
• Prepare and package medications for dispensing.
• Maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles.
• Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to all pharmacy laws, regulations, and standards.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic math skills
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

Preferences:

• Equivalent work experience is highly preferred.
• Current pharmacy technician certification (CPhT) preferred, but not required.

However, you must be willing to register or in the process of registering with the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy as a "Pharmacy Technician," OR, "Pharmacy Technician Trainee," in order to comply with state regulation. All pharmacy technicians and trainees must be registered with the Board of Pharmacy. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the pharmacy team and providing quality patient care.
