Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Per Diem This opportunity is for a Pharmacy Technician to provide essential support in a busy pharmacy setting during a short-term assignment from September 8 to 10. Operating on the first shift from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Tuesday through Thursday, this per diem role offers a chance to engage directly with customers and pharmacy operations in Pottstown, Pennsylvania.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately enter patient information and prescription orders into the pharmacy computer system. Assist pharmacists in the dispensing of prescription medications. Manage and order over-the-counter (OTC) inventory to maintain adequate stock levels. Deliver excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers with inquiries and concerns. Collaborate with third-party prescription plans to resolve adjudication issues, ensuring smooth prescription processing.
Qualifications and Experience:
Active and clear Pennsylvania Pharmacy Technician license. Minimum of 1 year of retail pharmacy experience. Experience with Pioneer Rx software is highly preferred.
Schedule:
First shift: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Tuesday through Thursday, September 8-10 This assignment is ideal for a pharmacy technician with a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
