JOB SUMMARY
The Pharmacy Technician assists in the day-to-day operations of the Pharmacy at Union Community Care. They work under the direction of the Staff Pharmacist to provide excellent service.
SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES
Prepare, deliver, and restock medications Perform order entry Procure drugs Bill prescriptions Assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist Carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements. Other duties as assigned
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or GED Current CPR certification Recent experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy Experience working with 340B preferred Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred Proficient computer skills Effective communications skills; verbal and written English proficiency required Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
In order to fulfill the requirements of this position, duties 1-7 are considered essential functions of the job.
ORGANIZATIONAL INVOLVEMENT
This position is required to participate in mandatory all staff meetings, team meetings and trainings.
