We are seeking a qualified Pharmacy Technician - IV Compounding to support pharmacy operations and infusion therapy services. The ideal candidate will have pharmacy experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work safely and accurately in a controlled environment. This position is responsible for pharmaceutical infusion compounding and other pharmacy-related activities associated with the dispensing of infusion therapy.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform pharmaceutical infusion compounding activities. Follow all applicable local, state, and federal pharmacy regulations. Maintain proper sanitation and cleanliness of the cleanroom area. Perform sanitation, maintenance, and tracking of infusion equipment. Participate in pharmacy quality control and performance improvement activities. Assist with pharmacy inventory control and related documentation. Follow all applicable government regulations, including HIPAA requirements. Maintain a safe and compliant work environment when handling hazardous materials. Complete other pharmacy-related duties as assigned. Job responsibilities may vary depending on location and operational needs.

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Verifiable high school diploma or GED required. Current pharmacy technician license, if required by the state. Successful completion of required IV technician training. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures. Ability to work safely with pharmaceutical products and hazardous materials. Preferred Qualifications Prior IV admixture experience preferred. Graduate of a formal pharmacy technician training program preferred. Previous pharmacy experience preferred. At least one year of hospital or home infusion experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit or stand for approximately 7-10 hours per day. Ability to sit, stand, stoop, bend, and walk intermittently throughout the workday. Ability to work extended hours when required. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally. Finger dexterity required to operate office and pharmacy equipment. Ability to read fine print and perform tasks requiring close vision. Ability to distinguish colors and adjust focus as needed. Ability to hear normal voice sounds.

Work Environment:

Climate-controlled, smoke-free indoor environment. Work may involve exposure to hazardous materials. Employees must follow all applicable safety, pharmacy, and regulatory procedures.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, with a 1-hour lunch. #

NonVax Pay:

$19.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week

Experience:

prior IV admixture or infusion compounding: 1 year (Required) hospital or home infusion: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

Pharmacy Tech license in PA (Required)
