Job Summary We are seeking a Data Entry Pharmacy Technician who can master the details while keeping the bigger picture in mind. This role requires precision, speed, professionalism, and the ability to juggle multiple systems and queues at once. You will be a critical part of the workflow that keeps our pharmacy running smoothly, supporting prescription processing, communication queues, customer needs, and operational tasks. Responsibilities Prescription Processing & Data Entry Complete accurate prescription input across multiple queues Enter new prescriptions, transfers, start dates, and payment details Input prescriptions from priority queues to support production workflows Process refills received and incoming document queues Maintain the Renewal Pending queue to ensure uninterrupted medication supply Verify transitions of care and ensure continuity for patients Medication Coordination Manage the MedSync call queue and complete daily outreach Monitor and respond to incoming patient text messages Oversee store-wide email inboxes to ensure timely responses to all pharmacy inquiries Maintain shared team calendars, ensuring schedule accuracy and communication flow Take inbound phone calls through a round-robin system for even distribution Customer Service & Patient Support Create a positive and supportive customer experience Translate prescriptions for hearing-impaired patients using ScriptTalk when needed Document customer concerns and take proactive steps to resolve them Provide accurate time and cost estimates to manage expectations Conduct patient needs assessments to support optimal health outcomes Operational & Administrative Tasks Open, organize, and maintain retail and facility packaging files Manage return-to-stock processes efficiently Perform basic delivery station functions: ringing out deliveries, creating delivery routes Assist with bill collecting calls as assigned by the financial team Technology & Systems Monitor and provide feedback on pharmacy technology solutions Leverage internal software tools to maintain workflow accuracy and efficiency Operate effectively across multiple systems, queues, and task types Team Collaboration Support tasks across all technician skill levels to maintain workflow efficiency Step into any task needed to support production and patient care Operate with a team-first mindset and a commitment to excellence Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Previous pharmacy technician or pharmacy data entry experience strongly preferred Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage multiple queues and communication channels simultaneously Strong written and verbal communication skills Confidence using technology, automation tools, and pharmacy software Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently Reliable, professional, and team-oriented Additional growth opportunities available based on performance and skills.
