Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Per Diem A pharmacy technician opportunity is available for a per diem assignment from September 8 to 10 in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. This role involves supporting pharmacists in providing excellent service and accurate prescription processing within a retail pharmacy setting.
Schedule:
September 8-10 Tuesday through Thursday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM 1st shift
Key Responsibilities:
Enter patient information and prescription orders accurately into the computer system. Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescription medications. Manage and order over-the-counter (OTC) inventory to maintain adequate stock levels. Greet and assist customers, addressing their questions and concerns with excellent customer service. Collaborate with third-party prescription plans to resolve adjudication issues for timely prescription processing.
Qualifications:
Active and clear pharmacy technician license in Pennsylvania. Minimum of 1 year retail pharmacy experience. Experience with Pioneer Rx is highly preferred. This per diem assignment offers the chance to contribute to quality patient care on a flexible basis during a short-term engagement.
