Job Description
Could you be our next Pharmacy Technican, Ambulatory with Lankenau Medical Center? Why work as a Pharmacy Technician, Ambulatory with Main Line Health? Make an Impact! The Pharmacy Technician, Ambulatory uses pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information to process prescriptions. Assists the pharmacists in performing technical duties related to the distribution of drugs to patients. Monitors medication inventory levels and places orders to restock. Develops strong relationships with colleagues and customers. Supports pharmacological services by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level, placing, and expediting orders, reading medication orders and prescriptions, preparing labels, calculating quantities, compounding sterile and non-sterile products, and other pharmaceutical therapies.
