- Trainee or Certified (Mail Order) in Northlake, TX.

Pharmacy Workflow Technician (Trainee or Certified) The Pharmacy Technician I supports daily operations by performing license-required tasks that support order fulfillment. The technician is expected to work across Pharmacy Operations and consistently meet metrics. Flexibility is essential, as the role involves moving between workflows based on demands. In addition to metrics, the technician is also responsible for meeting ship performance targets. As a Pharmacy Technician I, you will: Receive comprehensive training on pharmacy practices and regulations. - Focus on internal operations. Noise level in work area is typically quiet to moderate. This is a full-time, onsite position located in Northlake, TX. This position requires 40 hours per week, typically scheduled Monday-Friday, between our operating hours of 7: 00 am
- 5: 00 pm CT with a rotating Saturday 7: 00 am
- 3: 30 pm
CT. WHAT YOU' LL DO
Assist the pharmacists with daily order dispensing in accordance with pharmacy policies and procedures Prepare unit dose medications by breaking down bulk inventory into labeled, single-unit envelopes for pharmacist verification. Accurately dispense medications by counting tablets from bulk stock into prepared vials according to regulatory standards. Pick and label prescription orders Assist in Production duties that require a Pharmacy Technician license by building compliance units for top veterinary care products (flea, tick, heartworm preventatives) from bulk packages into individual single unit envelopes Ship orders Rotate between stations within the pharmacy based on the daily demands Restock and keep workstations clean and organized Perform basic receiving functions Participate in all scheduled pharmacy inventories Assist in recycling efforts for the department Ensure the safety, cleanliness and security of the warehouse work environment Complete other duties as assignedWHAT YOU BRING
Current valid Pharmacy Technician Trainee registration with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy. You must achieve your certification before the expiration of your trainee license High School diploma or equivalent Minimum 6 months previous warehouse, fulfillment, inventory or pharmacy experience Dispensing skills: accurate, efficient, and detail-oriented Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment Possess strong team building skills; should be positive, respectful, and dependable Must adhere to policies and procedures, be accountable, and be committed to continuous quality improvement Team-oriented and works well with others, as well as independently Accuracy at repetitive tasks for long periods of time Capacity to start and stop projects seamlessly, despite frequent interruptions, while maintaining attention to detailPreferred Experience and Qualifications:
Veterinary or Pharmacy experience Warehouse/fulfillment experienceWORKING CONDITIONS
Environment where dogs are present if in the office Lifting and shelving items weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly Ability to work standing on pressurized concrete for long periods of time Occasionally stooping, lifting, and/or bending Occasionally reaching overhead and using a step ladderWHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM VETSOURCE
