Job Description

Summary:
To provide the full scope of pharmaceutical services to the patients, nurses, and physicians of Roger Williams Medical Center under the direct and indirect supervision of the registered pharmacist.
Licensure:
Must have a current RI Pharmacy Technician License and PTCB National Certification.
Experience:
Six months preferred, but not required. Working Conditions, Physical Environment and/or
Safety Requirements:
Works in a well-lighted, well-ventilated area with exposure to hazardous waste and chemicals. Must meet annual safety training requirements and health test requirements such as annual TB testing. Required lifting or moving objects weighing 25 pounds from time to time.
Interrelationships:
Must possess interpersonal skills and tact creating a favorable image in relationship to the department and the hospital as a whole. Must demonstrate commitment to a team approach and concepts of total quality.
