Job Description
About us We are a family owned pharmacy for 45 years in West Columbia. We strive to provide friendly and knowledgeable service in a timely manner. We have helped multiple generations of families whose loyalty we value!
Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications and providing patient care
- Prepare and package medications for distribution
- Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed
- Answer phone calls and assist customers with inquiries
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure patient satisfaction
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy practices
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Experience:
- Previous experience as a pharmacy technician is preferred
