We are a unique employer and an even more unique pharmacy! We offer a variety of services from compounding to home medical equipment and more. We're currently looking to add a retail pharmacy technician to our team. We need people who thrive in a fast-paced environment and like to stay busy. We offer ample opportunity for growth within our company, as there is no shortage of things to learn. We also need people with exceptional interpersonal skills. Our patients are our number one priority, and we pride ourselves on offering top notch customer service in addition to ensuring first-class care. Experience is not required, but is preferred. PTCB certification is even better. We're looking for someone who is willing to be trained in multiple roles and move around as necessary. Flexibility will be a necessary skill for success in this position, in addition to multi-tasking, attention to detail, and teamwork. This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week. The pharmacy hours are 9am to 7pm Monday to Friday, 9am to 2pm Saturday, closed Sundays. Saturdays will be required on a rotating basis. The starting pay for this position is $14 - $16 per hour depending on experience.

Hardworking Willing to move around to help where needed and answer the phones Thrives in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude Ability to multi-task Ability to provide excellent customer service Basic computer skills Job duties: Provide excellent customer service by answering phone calls from patients, patients' families, and long term care facility nurses and staff Read, interpret, and process physician's medication orders and ensure all information is complete and accurate Preparing new prescription and refill requests for patients Aid in filling, processing, and dispensing medications Sort, stock, re-package and label medications Process insurance claims, cycle billing, and resolve billing issues when they arise Adhere to safety practices in order to ensure quality care for patients Help monitor and maintain the drug inventory through inventory control practices Prioritize requests and tasks Check for expiration dates on medications on a regular basis Undertake administrative tasks as assigned Be able to listen and understand customers while maintaining composure when dealing with upset or angry customers Benefits (for full-time employees): 401(k), with company matching Health insurance, 50% paid by company Dental, vision, and supplemental insurance Paid holidays and vacation time Employee discount, prescription medicines excluded Christmas bonus/profit sharing program
