! | Scheduling Interviews for this week !About the Role We are seeking a Data Entry Pharmacy Technician to join a growing pharmacy team. In this role, you will accurately enter prescription information, support pharmacists, assist patients and providers, and help ensure efficient pharmacy operations in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities + Enter prescription, patient, and insurance information accurately into the pharmacy system. + Process prescriptions received electronically, by fax, or by phone. + Review prescriptions for accuracy and work with providers to resolve discrepancies. + Answer calls from patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies. + Provide updates on prescription status and insurance coverage. + Assist with refill requests, prior authorizations, and prescription transfers. + Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality. + Perform clerical tasks such as filing, scanning, and document management. + Support daily pharmacy operations and contribute to a team-focused environment. Qualifications + Active Tennessee Pharmacy Technician License required. + Previous pharmacy data entry experience preferred. + Experience handling high-volume prescription processing. + Knowledge of compounding pharmacy operations is a plus. + Strong attention to detail and accuracy. + Excellent communication and customer service skills. + Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. + Familiarity with pharmacy software systems preferred. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Knoxville, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
