$20/hr•$24/hrPosition Summary We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Pharmacy Floor Technician to join our pharmacy team. In this role, you will be responsible for picking, labeling, scanning, and preparing prescriptions for final verification by a pharmacist. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to maintaining quality and accuracy in all aspects of pharmacy operations. Essential Responsibilities Accurately and efficiently fill daily medication orders under the supervision of a pharmacist. Pick and pull medications from shelving and other medication storage areas. Label, scan, and prepare prescription medications for pharmacist verification. Apply labels to blister cards and scan products for accuracy checks. Notify the pharmacist of any medication or product that does not scan properly. Assist with processing returned medications and recycling or disposal procedures. Support pre-packaging of frequently ordered medications during low-volume periods. Package medications and products manually according to established procedures. Maintain clean, organized workstations and replenish necessary supplies. Follow all applicable company policies and government regulations, including HIPAA requirements. Adhere to safety, attendance, and dress code policies. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Ability to work at a moderate pace while maintaining accuracy. Strong verbal and written English communication skills. Active and unrestricted Tennessee Pharmacy Technician License issued by the Tennessee Board of Pharmacy. Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift. Preferred Qualifications Previous Pharmacy Technician experience. Experience working in a high-volume pharmacy or medication fulfillment environment. Familiarity with medication packaging, labeling, and scanning processes.
