Job Description
Part-Time Pharmacy Technician - Choto Location We are seeking a personable, service-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our Choto team. This part-time position is ideal for someone who combines accuracy and efficiency with polished communication and a genuine commitment to building strong patient relationships. Our Choto location serves a discerning patient community that values personalized attention, professionalism, and discretion. The successful candidate will be comfortable engaging with patients, anticipating their needs, and delivering an exceptional pharmacy experience. Schedule Approximately 25 hours per week on a two-week rotating schedule: Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday Week 2: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday Rotating four-hour Saturday shift Responsibilities Welcome patients and provide attentive, professional service Assist with prescription processing, data entry, and preparation Communicate clearly with patients, pharmacists, prescribers, and insurance providers Handle sensitive patient information with discretion Maintain accurate records and follow all pharmacy procedures Support inventory management and the organization of the pharmacy Help create a warm, polished, and dependable patient experience Qualifications Current registration with the Tennessee Board of Pharmacy required Current PTCB certification required Previous pharmacy experience preferred, but not required Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Professional demeanor and strong customer-service instincts Dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a patient-focused environment Ability to work the rotating weekday and Saturday schedule We are willing to train the right candidate who brings professionalism, warmth, attention to detail, and a desire to provide outstanding patient care.
