Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract A pharmacy technician position is available with a trusted mail order and renal specialty pharmacy filling approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily. This contract role offers a 13-week assignment with a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, totaling 40 hours per week. There is potential for this role to transition into a temp-to-hire position, which requires Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification for permanent placement.

Murfreesboro, TN Qualifications:
Current certification as a pharmacy technician registered with the Tennessee Board of Pharmacy PTCB certification required for temp-to-hire consideration Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Experience with pharmacy order entry systems preferred (Wellsky knowledge is a plus)
Responsibilities:
Fill and dispense medications accurately in the dispensing role Verify shipping information and enter new patient information in the customer service role Update patient profile information in the pharmacy software system Maintain high standards of accuracy and quality control in all tasks Collaborate effectively with pharmacy staff to ensure timely and accurate prescription processing
Schedule:
