Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract To Hire A full-time Pharmacy Technician position is available at a mail order compounding pharmacy located in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This opportunity suits a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) with hands-on sterile compounding experience who thrives in a fast-paced setting. The role operates on a Monday through Friday schedule during the 2nd shift hours from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
Responsibilities include:
Performing sterile compounding tasks in compliance with pharmacy procedures and safety standards Assisting in medication preparation for mail order fulfillment Adhering to USP guidelines and pharmacy protocols Ensuring accuracy in labeling, packaging, and documentation Supporting pharmacists and pharmacy staff with daily workflow Maintaining clean, organized, and compliant compounding areas Following all state, federal, and pharmacy regulations Qualifications and experience sought: Current Tennessee Pharmacy Technician license (required) Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential (required) Proven sterile compounding experience (required) Previous mail order or compounding pharmacy experience (preferred) Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Ability to reliably work the assigned 2nd shift, Monday through Friday Strong professionalism and ability to collaborate within a team environment This contract-to-hire role offers the chance to apply specialized compounding skills in a dynamic pharmacy that emphasizes quality and safety.
