Under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, the IV Pharmacy Technician is responsible for filling IV orders including the calculation and compounding of IV admixtures according to prescription orders following Pharmacy policies, regulations, and procedures.Attributes Required:

- ability to work effectively and collaboratively with all team members Essential job functions (include the following): Under the supervision of Registered Pharmacist, accurately prepare IV orders to include mixing, measuring and calculating doses using proper sterile compounding techniques.
Certifications:
High School Diploma or GED required Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration (per state requirements), requiredSkills and Qualifications:
Minimum of one (1) year working as an IV pharmacy technician required Proficient in computer applications related to department operations and job function. Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines Ability to solve problems with minimal direction Great attention to detail and accuracy Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment working on multiple tasks simultaneously, while adhering to strict deadlines Quality minded; motivated to seek out errors and inquire when something appears inaccurate Working knowledge of Medical Terminology required Strong knowledge of brand/generic drugs preferredWork Environment:
