Qualifications Minimum Position Requirements Work Experience:

Two (2) years of work experience as a Pharmacy Technician.

License/Registration/Certification:

Current registration for Pharmacy Technician with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy. Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) approved Sterile Compounding Certification Required for Hire with a minimum 40 hours of training completed I.V. Certification completed within 3 months of hire.

Education and Training:

High School graduate or GED equivalent. Graduation from a Pharmacy Technician program preferred.

Possess knowledge of drug names, medical terminology, pharmaceutical calculations, and different pharmacy work areas and equipment used. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
