Responsibilities Perform data entry and medication inventory management within pharmacy software systems, ensuring precise recordkeeping and stock control. Support patient service activities such as medication intake, medication administration assistance, and patient care documentation while maintaining strict confidentiality of patient information. Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws, drug regulations, and pharmaceutical regulatory standards. Conduct pharmaceutical calculations accurately for dosage compounding and medication dispensing. Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries, verifying prescriptions, and supporting medication adherence efforts.. Qualifications Valid certification as a Pharmacy Technician with current registration in the state of Texas. Demonstrated knowledge of pharmaceutical calculations, drug regulation, and medical terminology relevant to pharmacy practice. Experience with pharmacy software systems for data entry, inventory management, and medication tracking especially with RX 30 software. Knowledge of state healthcare regulations, federal laws governing pharmacy practice, and pharmaceutical regulatory compliance standards. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals. Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments such as in a compounding pharmacy setting while maintaining attention to detail.
