Job Description

We are looking for a Registered Pharmacy Technician to join our team in a full, part time, and/or prn capacity. We have a low-stress and fun environment with owners heavily involved in the business. We are a family owned, independent pharmacy that values flexibility and a positive work environment!
Duties and Responsibilities:
 Complying with procedures, rules, and regulations  Providing excellent customer service to patients, health care providers, and insurers  Counting, labeling, and reconstituting prescription medications  Inputting and retrieving information through the pharmacy system and point- of-sale system  Obtaining refill authorizations from prescribers  Processing and preparing third-party insurance claims  Maintaining accurate patient and client profiles  Assisting the pharmacist with managing inventory  Preparing reports related to sales, usage, and inventory  Maintaining and cleaning equipment, work areas, and shelves
Qualifications:
 Valid Texas State Board of Pharmacy Technician License  No pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances
