We're looking for a detail-oriented, dependable, and customer-focused Order Entry Pharmacy Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you'll play a critical part in ensuring prescriptions are entered accurately, patients receive exceptional service, and prescriptions move efficiently through our workflow. Responsibilities Accurately enter prescriptions into the pharmacy management system. Review prescriptions for completeness and resolve missing or incorrect information. Communicate with patients, prescribers, and healthcare offices regarding prescription questions and clarifications. Verify patient demographics, insurance information, and medication details. Work closely with pharmacists and fulfillment technicians to ensure timely prescription processing. Maintain accurate documentation while protecting patient privacy and HIPAA compliance. Prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Contribute to continuous workflow improvements and provide outstanding customer service. Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Comfortable using computers and learning new software. Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team. Preferred Texas Registered Pharmacy Technician or Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT). Previous pharmacy, healthcare, or medical office experience.
