In this vital role, you will assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, managing patient interactions, and ensuring accurate medication delivery within diverse clinical settings. This paid position offers an engaging opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, patient-centered atmosphere. Experience with PrimeRx software is a mandatory. Responsibilities Prepare and dispense medications accurately under the supervision of licensed pharmacists. Manage medication intake and inventory control, ensuring proper storage, labeling, and documentation of pharmaceuticals. Assist with patient service by answering medication-related questions, verifying prescriptions, and supporting medication administration processes. Maintain detailed records of medication dispensing, patient interactions, and pharmacy activities in compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure safe medication practices and effective patient care delivery. Requirements Proven pharmacy technician experience with a strong understanding of medical terminology and medication management processes. Demonstrated ability to handle intake procedures efficiently while maintaining accuracy under pressure. Excellent patient service skills with a focus on compassionate patient care and clear communication. Ability to work effectively within acute care teams while adhering to safety standards and regulatory requirements. Certification as a pharmacy technician is required.

$15.00 - $20.00 per hour
