Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Per Diem Join a retail pharmacy team in Ashburn, VA, seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a per diem role covering June 22 through July 11, 2026. This position requires hands-on experience with PioneerRx, a pharmacy management system critical for prescription processing and daily operations.
Schedule:
Monday to
Friday:
9 AM to 6
PM Saturday:
9 AM to 1
PM Sunday:
Closed Key Responsibilities:
Accurately enter and fill prescriptions using PioneerRx. Assist the Pharmacist with daily operational tasks. Perform some non-sterile compounding, with training provided from June 22 to 24. Maintain compliance with pharmacy protocols and safety standards.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Prior experience with PioneerRx system is mandatory. Pharmacy Technician certification or relevant training preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment. Willingness to learn non-sterile compounding procedures during initial training days.
Location:
Ashburn, VA, serving the local community in Broadlands. This per diem opportunity offers the chance to support pharmacy operations during a critical coverage period.
