Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract A healthcare facility in the Charlottesville area is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to support its pharmacy operations on a contract basis. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional committed to accurate medication distribution and exceptional customer service.
Schedule/Hours:
Tuesday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (9-hour shifts) Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (9-hour shifts) during the contract period from June 30 to July 24, 2026
Location:
Charlottesville, VA Responsibilities:
Accurately distribute medications prescribed by physicians and other authorized healthcare practitioners Provide patients and customers with clear, helpful information about prescribed medications and their proper use Maintain a high standard of customer service to ensure a positive experience for all pharmacy clients
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Valid Virginia Pharmacy Technician license Experience in retail and/or long-term care pharmacy settings is preferred Strong communication skills and commitment to patient care This opportunity offers valuable hands-on experience in a dynamic pharmacy environment.
