Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Per Diem A Pharmacy Technician role is available in a retail/long-term care setting in Hampton, VA, offering a per diem opportunity with a consistent weekday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. This position is ideal for candidates holding a valid Virginia Pharmacy Technician license and those with prior retail or long-term care pharmacy experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Distribute medications as prescribed by licensed physicians and health practitioners. Communicate medication usage information clearly to customers. Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring patients and clients receive support and guidance.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid Virginia Pharmacy Technician license. Experience in retail or long-term care pharmacy settings preferred. Strong communication and customer service skills. Attention to detail and adherence to pharmacy protocols.
Schedule:
Monday through Wednesday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM on specified dates from June 22 through July 29, 2026.
